What is a Turducken?
Our Turducken is a kosher turkey stuffed with a kosher duck stuffed with a kosher chicken. 14 lb. Turkey (raw weight) All the bones are removed. The duck and chicken are stuffed with Challah and Vegetable Stuffing or Rice Pilaf. The Turducken is made with a free range turkey, free range duck and free range chicken. We can also make it using organic poultry.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
CUTTING AND DEFROSTING COOKED TURDUCKEN -Defrost the Turducken in the refrigerator or under cold running water. Defrosting in the refrigerator should take approximately 48 hours, depending on the temperature of the refrigerator.
REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS -To reheat, place Turducken fully covered in foil or another pan on top in oven at temperature at 250 degrees for two hours.
CUTTING THE TURDUCKEN -The Turducken may be cut vertically, horizontally or any way that you prefer. We find it easiest to cut it in half the short way and then half again the long way. Then take the 1/4 and cut it down like you would bread, but thicker
