Following a traditional Scottish recipe, we dry cure the salmon with a natural blend of salt and sugar and then cold smoke over smoldering oak wood chips. Serve our Smoked Salmon at ambient room temperature. Separate the slices and let the smoked salmon breathe –you’ll be amazed how the flavor deepens and the silky texture improves!
For a simple snack, serve the smoked salmon on a toasted bagel with cream cheese, sliced onions,tomatoes and capers. Or, impress your friends with a smoked salmon hors d’oeuvre. Lightly toast fresh brown bread, remove the crusts and cut into small squares. Wrap the smoked salmon around a small portion of cream cheese and place on the toast. Garnish with your choice of caviar or salmon roe. Enjoy!
